About This Site

You might have noticed this site feels a little different. That’s because we took the long way around. We didn't use a template or a wedding website builder. Instead, we accidentally built a small SaaS platform. We designed every pixel, wrote our own backend, and rolled our own authentication system. Is it standard practice to engineer a full-stack application for a single day? Definitely not. Most people would (rightfully) just use a drag-and-drop tool. But we wanted to build something that was entirely ours—from the database structure up to the typography. It’s overkill, sure. But it means everything here works exactly how we want it to.
